yea, the furry fandom is sick and what's even sicker is that they actively support "youngfurs" (kids ages 9-13) in joining their fandom. I have seen little kids wanting/wearing a fursuit and its just really gross tbh. They say that "a lot of furries that are ABDL are very nice and loving!!" or "furries love animals a lot! they dont have sex with them". I know its a lie. Less people would admit something as shameful as fucking animals/other innocent beings and so I'm guessing its a good 20% of the furry fandom.
the fursuit thing isn't really gross, it is innocent enough, just kinda cosplay really. What some furries do, in fursuits, is whats disgusting. but yeah, kids shouldn't be in the furry fandom, at least not young kids. there probably should be some separate offshoot that doesn't have all the gross stuff. I am a furry artist, honestly. I also draw anime, normal art, and drawings, and abstract stuff. But i never delved into the darker side of the fandom. i remember back on old youtube with the stream chats, some furries would stream shit like wolves mating, and all sorts of other stuff. Now, i don't have a problem with wolves mating, they kinda do that to continue their species. Its just knowing what these sick fucks do it for. Sometimes i wish i knew how to take screenshots, because of how lewd some of the shit they did got. there weren't pictures in the old streams, but with ero-rp and shit. to read some of it, was quite hilarious honestly, but i come across more than my fair share of pedos. I was probably 15-16 at that time, and after seeing all of it, worked with a youtuber called thecancollecter to expose some of the pedos and shit within the fandom. His channel has long been baleeted.
blegh. i'm not a furry artist, rather i just draw animals and humans, no inbetweens. the furry fandom, especially the dark side, really creeps me out. if you go on FurAffinity just once you see all sorts of messed up stuff in the "Newest" section. deviantART isn't all that better but it looks like paradise compared to FA. Also I remember some furry who was popular on YT linked his FA, and the stuff that was saved in his favorites was absolutely disgusting. They pretend to be normal but you find out their true self by looking at what they favorite.
I do a bit of both, but its a matter of just learning multiple things. i would say my favorite artist in history, was Van Gogh or Louis wain.
