You should invest where you have the most motivation. If people don't care enough about that one project and you can't find the motivation to continue it then you should turn your attention to something else and either put that project on hold or cancel it. Better to make something else/new with effort than to continue another thing half-assed.

The thing is I WANT to do AoS. I like doing it. But no one seems to care.

Then do it! Do it until that spark of motivation finally flickers out!

If I do though I want to know its not for nothing. It looks to me that most people just don't care and I love the ideas I have. I've been working on this idea for years and this is the only way I can get it out. At least the people that don't read it know about it. Others just don't seem to care and only want the same old thing from me.

It's hard to get anything established and, unless you're lucky, it can take a very long time for something entirely new to get noticed. The most you can do is continue to send your ideas out there and hope it eventually gets the attention you think it deserves until you've finally lost all hope in it. It's always a crapshoot, but you never know until you try, until you give it the time, energy and passion you feel it deserves.
