Its a rather sad story but one some can relate to. I think it is going along quiet smoothly so far. I must say I was really surprised at the lack of grammer and punctuation errors.
You are definitely headed in the right direction, but I would live to see a little more description as to what they are. I noticed it said paw steps and I wondered what creature they were. Fox, dog, wolf, big cats, raccoons, etc.
